    Audi coupe 20v quattro

    Just spotted this on ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUDI-COUPE-2-3...QQcmdZViewItem

It belongs to the guy I bought the wheels off for my wife's 80V6. Ignoring the awful wheels this car is in really nice condition, the interior looks new. Car started on the button and ran beautifully. I didn't take for a drive, I would've bought it myself had I not just bought the 80V6q for the wife.

Would make a nice car for someone, talking to him about how much etc. He said he wanted £1700 for it (I laughed!!!), I think he wouldn't take less than £1500 for it.

I think it's a really hard task to get any decent money for these cars on eBay.

Mine was sold there a few months back, after byuing my S2 avant.

I had changed all the suspension, with new mounts and bushes, shocks etc. New wheel bearings, painted all the suspension parts, subframes etc. after shotblasting in gloss red.

I had even converted the hubs to five bolt as per S2, and fitted new brake disks pads etc, with a set of avus alloys with good tyres.

I certainly didn't have any rust or peeling paint on mine, with a very good condition interior.

Mine eventually sold for £1,200 - which considering the amount of money and work I had put into it was laughable.
