    QRS Top Mounts

These alloy mounts look nice & are pretty blue. But....
Where i live its all country roads & with bilsteins & H&R's & 19inch alloys
you can imagine the drive for me
I have some blue ones comin from vag, alloy mounts will be going on ebay,
So thought i would tell you encase anyone wants to make me an offer for them.

    Cheers

    I got them installed too.

However its not them that make your ride hard its the shock/spring setup. Offcourse they contribute not only a teeny bit.

Yes i concur but they do add to the problem,

I think though Tina long term your going to have in order

      a) Consider buying Koni shocks
      b) Consider going to standard ride height springs
      c) Consider reducing the alloys to 17" or 18"

i have already had this discussion with martin at vag today about my alloys.
Said im considering looking for a deal for my 19's to 18's,
        but want the same style.

Its either bite the bullet, and race about on hard roads and suffer
        bruising to my eyes

I'm with Jamo on this one - the biggest issue you have is the H&R springs on 19s

H&Rs are stiff enough on 17s, I should know

Another thing - the stock top mounts last about 6 months before going poing on a stock set up, so with your uber-stiff setup, they'll probably last 6 minutes before you have to replace them. At least the QRS ones would last a bit longer?!

              HI Tina
I will resist any and all jokes here about hardness

See how you get on with those 18"s before trying anything else, that would be my suggestion.
