Not to kill spirits or sound like I'm talking crap, but if that car was able to be baught by a South African with ways and means to get it into my country, I'd take it in a flash!!! You selling THAT car with ALL it's mods, work and effort for 6000 pounds...If I'm lucky to even find one of those for sale here in STOCK condition (NO extra's) it goes for nothing less than R90 000 which is around 7000 pounds!!

I go on this forum and even often look at the UK autotrader and see 5 - 8 S2's available at any time of the month. Those are GOLD here.

I did some research into importing cars from there to here as we are also RHD...That's one of the conditions...the other condition before they'll allow something llike that....is if I can prove that I lived in the UK and OWNED that specific vehicle for nothing less than 6 months!! I've got 2 mates who've been living there for over 2 years...and I've even gone as far as wanting to send them the cash to buy me a little beast...drive it for 6 months...then return home and try get the car back here, coz then it all complies to the requirements.

If you have other ideas, answers or solutions...I'm all ears

Maybe you can strip the car and then post me one piece per week??

I am extremely interested in this car. I have just sold my A4 1.8T and was looking for either a S2 avant or B5 S4 avant. Hopefully Graham will get back to me soon. Do any of you know much about the history of the car? Is it an ABY? Rest assured if I do buy it, it will be going to a very good home and a fellow Audi enthusiast

Fair play to them, certainly looks like they have landed a beauty. Lets hope they attend some of the shows, such as Audi International in October. Would be a shame to keep it locked away all of the time.
