These were featured in either Audi Driver, the Audi Magazine or VW/Audi Driver a while back. (I have the magazines at home). There were also a set of purple cars to go with the green cars so, presumably, they could play hounds and hares on the dunes. The purple cars are almost irresistable.

To an extent I disagree, it is worth whatever someone is willing to pay.
What price exclusivity and rarety?
Treser only made 4 of these rare things. If I was collecting rare Audi's (which sometimes I feel I am doing!!!) then I would love to have this.

How is that a '4 door Coupe' when it has a fixed rear window and a boot lid....just like a saloon? Also the front doors are not long like Coupes but short like saloons.

Simple answer? It isn't.
It's based on either a type 89 B3 80 saloon (as the ebay advert shows) or a later B4 80 saloon as the above picture shows.
A coupe is generally a 2+2 with two doors, but some car manufacturers also market four doors cars as coupes when in reality they are only a four door sedan.

I disagree with above comments, yes it's rare, but it's also damn butt ugly and you'd need to have a big hole in your head if you wanted to pay more than £2.60 for it.
But then thats me..
