I thought the UrS car ECU numbers were:Originally posted by spinkUltra rare 551 E,unopened, offers
S4: AAN Bosch 0261200465 VW Teile Nummer: 4A0 907 551 AA
S4: AAN Bosch: 0261200465 VW Teile Nummer: 4A0 907 551 A
S6: AAN Bosch 0 261 204 379 VW Teile Nummer: 4A0 907 551 F
S6: AAN Bosch 0 261 203 005 / 006 VW Teile Nummer: 4A0 907 551 B (Automatik)
S6: AAN Bosch 0 261 203 601 / 602 VW Teile Nummer: 4A0 907 551 C
S6: AAN Bosch 0 261 203 603 VW Teile Nummer: 4A0 907 551 D (Automatik)
No "E" in the list. What is an "E"?
We only got AA in North America for both the S4 and the S6. (no immobilizer)

Your list is incompleteOriginally posted by UrS4boyI thought the UrS car ECU numbers were:
. I see my hand there
. More on S6 ECU:
AUDI S6 22L 20V TURBO 4A0907551AA M232 CHK:A9A1 BOSCH 0261200465 1267356711
AUDI S6 22L 20V TURBO 4A0907551E M232 CHK:63F1 BOSCH 0261204378 1037355266
AUDI S6 22L 20V TURBO 4A0907551F M232 CHK:018E BOSCH 87C257 0261204379 1267355645
AUDI S6 22L 20V TURBO 4A0907551F M232 CHK:6027 BOSCH 0261204379 1037355267
So "E" and "F" are pretty "legal" ECU's for S6.

AFAIK the 1996 and 1997 S6's came with electronic differential "lock" (EDL) which I believe was really a computer (the ECU??) putting the brakes on the spinning rear wheel, not a true mechanical diff lock.Originally posted by spinkIm not 100% sure but ive been reliably informed some of the S6's were fitted with EDL,but i do know they work with ABY's.
In North America these EDL-equipped S6s still came with "AA" EDUs.
