OEM RS2 Cat Back Exhaust - FOR SALE

I have one OEM 50,000 mile Cat Back RS2 Exhaust system up for grabs.

It's in excellent condition and was removed from the car just last week
as it's been upgraded by a Milltek version for a bit more tunability :mischeif:

Hopefully, the enclosed photos will show enough detail to see condition etc.

I recommend pick up in person as courier may be expensive. The exhaust
is currently with Corey at Quattronics in Lincoln.

A new OEM one with Audi Hatfield costs about £600 so, I'm looking for say £200 plus
any courier costs as required. Any questions or for more photos just give me a call.

To be fair I was quite aprehensive about reasonance, increased noise, booming etc in going for the Milltek system. In actual fact, I had absolutely nothing to worry about

The Milltek is slighty louder than OEM but not at all boomy and the reasonance at low rpm is very minor. I've since covered some 300 Miles post fitting and am absolutely delighted with it.

Years ago, I had a custom made stainless system built by Bell Silencers in Swindon for an Mi16 205 Gti and that was terrible. I needed two sets of ear plugs just to survive a motorway journey!! This Milltek system appears very refined in comparison.

Upsides are more interesting soundtrack, I think better MPG (although busy trying to quantify that) and definitely better throttle response, slighty reduced lag. In a nutshell, I can notice the difference in driving the car = very happy.

I should also add a big thanks to Pete at Quattrocorner for supplying the exhaust at a very good price and also Corey at Quattronics for fitting the system for me. Fitting was not very easy and involved both of us hanging from the system, swinging up and down from it to try and get it to fit properly :mischeif:

In the end, I had to take it to Milltek factory for the back box to be cut, chopped and re welded to fit properly around the rear nearside CV joint. The Milltek's back box pipes stuck out the back of the car some 2-3 inches too far and 1-2 inches too low.

All re-work performed professionally by Milltek at no extra cost. All good now though!

Yeah, I've loads of photos but having some problems uploading. FOr some reason on either ie or firefox I can't upload any photos... The dialogue box seems to hang halfway through uploading. Anyone any ideas on how to get it working?

The cat-back Milltek on my Coupe is spot on. Ever so slightly louder than stock, weighs less than the "forth road bridge" OEM system and isn't boomy at any speeds.
Only one niggle I have with it, is the baffle plates in the centre box have come loose and ratlle like hell when cold. As I bought it secondhand off Sal, I can't go back to Milltek, so not sure what to do to fix it.

Apart from that, a good exhaust.
