Micky B, thanx fer the info. Funny how you got the same mail as I.

& about expenses being low.....I hear you seems like I can't make the money quick enough to spend it. Custom everything. Big bucks.
Prolly figure I'll spend $10G US

What kinda engine managment you using? & what turbo you using?
& besides the stuff you mentioned anything else additional you had to do to make everything work?
& that vidio link you sent didn't work fer me. Only shows some trippy graphics, I do hear something making a menacing noise though.

& I was going to put the motor in a 90 80q here in the States, but changed my mind cause I was worried about breaking the drive train my 1st clutch dump. So I got a 90 CQ..turning it into a S2/Rs2 you guys have. Figure I can take the 5spd out of it & use a 6spd tranny more tougher than the 80q's drive train.

& again thanx fer the info.

Just download the link and play with BS player, it works for me.

We use DTA ecu as i'm a dealer to it. The turbo is a custom KKK unit made in hungary.
If u install 6speed gearbox u had to mod a few things on the chassi and sorten the drive shaft (sorry my english is not perfect), cause the 5 speed box is sorter. U can get away with 5speed box anyway. We use it long time in that coupe. The owner just hammers on the clutch as u can see it on the clip.
U can find more video at www.timeslip.hu.

Bear with me a few more questions... what main & rod bearings you using??
& DTA ecu??? I'm not sure on what after market engine managment I'll be using. I've read & researched a bunch of them her in the states. Haltech/motec, AEM, 034, & a few others.

& the 6spd I'm looking into is from the "00-02" S4 2.7tt 6spd. Another lister from the states used that tranny & didn't have a problem. Heres a pic of his CQ/S2

I'm stripping it down to paint it..thinking bout Byzanz Purple...something diffrent than the colors we get in the States & dressing it up with Rs2 euros, Rs2 front bumper, B4 hood, coilovers, 5lug conversion, ect....

U have to work on a lot!
Dta pro8 works really good on 5 cyl engines too!
If u buy from me i send a start up software with it for your 5 cyl project.....

The 6 speed gearbox better for sure, the rs2 type has the strongest 1. gear with the
flexible shaft. the 6.speed from s2 later model has the same 1.gear but with the rigid shaft. But u have to sorten the main shaft.

How does the Dta pro8 work? As far as it works with stock wiring harness? Or is there a wiring harness supplied? what triggers does it use? Example...the 034 kit uses a trigger wheel on the crank pully & whats the cost in American $$$?

Is there a web site on info fer the Dta I look at?

& whats the HP #'s this lower end made?

What intake did you use?? Stock or?
I was allso told that 83lb injectors is what I want.
& exhaust mani..what one did you use?

I use DTA pro8 too. I made adapter between original harness and DTA. It work, but i think better to make new harness , or remake Power lines, crank sensor and TP sensor lines.

U can use the stock wiring, but has to make a connection between the ecu. Or make a new harness. It needs an extra map sensor, air temp sensor, cranck trigger wheel on pully with 60-2 teeth, the original sensor can be used. I can not tell u all the functions it is too long.
                    Check www.dtafast.co.uk
                    price pro8 ecu 1590 Usd + connector 52 Usd + vat.

exh manifold is tubular ss made custom in hungary.
                    70-80 lbs inj is ok.
                    about 600 horses
