1993 S2 Coupe

I thought I would post this thread on the forum to see if there was any interest.

I own a 1993 S2 Coupe in Indigo Blue. It has 149,000 miles on the clock and has been well looked after. Totally standard with only a K&N and black diamonds discs that are not standard. It has a few battle scars on the paintwork but nothing major.

The thing is that the car developed this problem (see link below).

A quick list of what the car has on it.

The car is an ABY version
Black quattro seats
Carbon trim
Projector Headlights
Air Con (this might need looking at)
Cruise Control
Standard five spoke chrome looking wheels
Very clean engine bay

I have spent a lot of money on the car with receipts to prove.

I have not had the time to even look at the problem the car has. It might be something simple to fix but it is breaking my heart every morning when I go out my front door and see her sitting there.

I am willing to sell it to the first person who can come up with £2750. I have placed this amount as I am unsure what the car needs to get it fixed so someone can have themselves a bargain. If you are thinking of breaking it I would rather keep it until I get round to fixing it.

Please bear in mind that the car is not a bucket and has been cherished since the day I bought it.

One of you may even be able to diagnose the fault just by seeing the video.

Hi mak,
Why not upload the video clip and post the link here then maybe someone can help diagnose it for you rather than parting wih something you clearly cherish?

I mean it would be a crying shame if you parted with it only to find that the repair was cheap and or simple and something you could have done yourself.

if you go to www.photobucket.com you can post vids/Pics there and all you need to do is post the tag from address bar on to thread...... like wise with pics

I am just outside Durham.

I would be happy to show people around my car but it does not drive far so I can't take it on a long test drive.

Thanks for posting the part about the pictures. I will take a look at it tomorow and try and get some pictures and a video clip on here.

You didn't mention this when you came and got your wifes Polo vag-com'ed the other weekend
I'm at work Sat morning until 12, then got to shoot to Bedale with Paulgo to pick up an ABY airbox and spend the rest of the day sorting his paintwork out.
We could pop over after we get back from Bedale, or come on Sunday morning and have a butchers.
