We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Looking for an S2 Avant. Will consider high milers with history, would prefer A/C, leather(heated would be nice) and i do not object to anything modified.

Try looking back about 10 posts in For Sale. I spoke to spink about this one for my mate but he hasnt sold his car so couldnt do anything about buying. It looks and sounds ok to me for the money, only a couple of minor issues fuel sender and something else i cant recall. Spink was very honest and open about the car, his mobiles on there as well give him a buzz hes alright. Let us know how you get on.

Check this one out on Ebay - i very very nearly bought it a couple of months ago.
I was in frequent talks via Email with the seller - only reason i didnt buy it was it was the second car i was looking at on the same day and i bought the first one.
Guy who owned it was called Dave - owned it for nigh on 5 years - sounded a totally genuine car.
Only faults he mentioned was the air con pipe had a pin hole in it - not the end of the world.
Good question mate, seems a shame that some of them are going really cheap, mind you I am guilty of buying a cheaper example and have spent more than double on it!!
Must be a lesson there somewhere, I think the next Avant I buy will be off here because at least you get more chance of a genuine car and can follow some of its history

Prices of E34 M5's has also fallen on its **** - fairly similar expensive to run enthusiasts car.
People can go and get finance and drive away in a brand new car - we are a throwaway generation and people do not want to be seen driving 10 yr old cars anymore.
