I think it has had 3 owners but says 6 on log book due to changing private plate a few times correct me if this isnt the case.

I dont think changing private plate adds a new owner on to the logbook mate.
At least.....last time I transferred a private plate off a car onto retention...it didnt add an extra owner on to the logbook anyway

No it doesnt add owners to the v5/ log book. Had various plates on and off cars on retention certs etc over the years. Got didled once when i moved house and did a change of address and they added an owner on the v5, took 3 months to get that sorted, they dont do quick in wales ( paperwork that is, i know theres some quick boyos running their s2 s through the valleys )
