S2 Avant for sale

Hi All,

After these last few months I've decided to give up and sell the Avant

It's a '94 model with FSH and 113 on the clock. Since I've had it it's been totally rebuilt and is now in top mechanical condition. The list of parts is as follows:

New Clutch and rebuilt gearbox
New slave cylinder
Head rebuilt with new guides and seals and 10 inlet valves
New timing chain
All belts replaced
New water pump and auxillary water pump
New front pulley assembly with vibration damper bolt and crank pulley
New 034 motorsport coil pack conversion
New Lambda sensor
Full stainless 3" turbo back exaust
New power steering pump
New oe top hose
New main radiator
New plastic water housing
New fuel sender
Set of 5 original S8 Avus with new 225/40/18 tyres
New headlamp glass
New forge recirc valve.
New OE size brembo front discs and pads
New tailgate lock with keys

I also have a good tailgate to go on with an all red rear panel, new blue top mounts, new prop centre bearing, new S8 front discs and a brand new set of FK lowering springs.

The car has 3 months Tax and mot left on it put I've had it pre Mot'd today and everything is good.

It comes with a charcoaol grey interior and has AC and a JVC cd player with custom door builds.

As I said, mechanically it is A1 and the body is very good with a few minor dings and a couple of scrapes on the rear bumper. The only rust on it is on the tailgate which could easily be fixed, but I have the replacement there so might as well change it.

Still here!! It's running superbly well as a daily now (just a bitch keepin it clean ) I've just had a quote to do the Tailgate with the red panel and bumper so it would be farly mint @200 quid)

Could be, I think mine was tricky because of all the trouble I had with it! I just needed someone to come along who appreciated all the work I had put into it

I like the green ones personally, especially when they're clean.

Oh well, it's a shame that it's gone but I have the Rallye and Porsche to keep me busy!

Not yet matey, it's just come back from the bodyshop and I'm in the process of fitting the Digifiz dash, new carpet etc. I'll get some pics up as soon as!

If anyone is goin to Ultimate dubs, it's be on display there. It'll be nice to finally meet some of you guys!

Congrats on the sale. I didn't manage to sell mine in sept-dec 05. Glad I kept it though as I certainly don't have a Rallye and a Porsche to ke me busy! Nice work!

Cheers Andy, I would have kept it but I sold the A6 daily about 6 weeks ago and have been using the Avant!

Mega reliable now but still drinks the juice I only do 60 miles a week and it was goin through 25-30 quid's worth.

£20 per 100 miles on a good day, a lot more in town, twisty bits or chav racing! Was averaging 17mpg for a bit when I lived in Brissol and used the S2 as a daily, about what you're getting then!
