They are glued, but I have 2 complete tailgates.

That is pretty much the only way to get it - an experienced person should have no problems getting it out. Doubt there are many new unfitted ones around.

They used a sort of cheese wire cutter to cut the bonding all the way around the glass edge and then lifted it out. Took 10 mins
