No, he's tried to sell it on piston head and ebay and is a dreamer because he's asking too much just because MTM charge him a small mortgage to get the car to a bhp level which could have been acheived a hell of allot cheaper!.

Full of dreams and BS methinks - advert mentions RS2 charge air cooler and an S1 charge air cooler... Oh and that 'optimised induction distance' is really selling it ! LOL
This guy must have paid a boatload of cash if he thinks thats what its worth.... I really wish he was right that a standard 1996 S2 was worth 9k - but its not (sadly). Asking 12k for this car is just crazy talk. Could be a nice car - don't get me wrong but the asking price is a bit bonkers IMO.

That S2, as nice as it is never gonna realise that sort of money is it ? iirc thats been for sale for nearly a year now, mind you he has just reduced it from £12995 so its gotta be a bargain, not. Jammo once again is right just because the guy paid way too much to get the 400 brake, why on earth does he think hes gonna be able to pass on his over spend to the next owner. imho thats £7500- 8000 on a good day. Still looks a dream from what little the ad tells.
Suppose it won't be likely an S2 with that milage, bodywork and that MTM badge will come round again any time soon.
He doesn't mention much about the pros of having such a professional steal done on the car. The only real thing that gives his asking price any backing. The work would come with papers saying all sorts of sweet nothings, that are always worth putting in an advert when the asking price is so high.Comment
