Damage repairable s2 on the bay

Well I dunno if anybody is still watching this thread but..... I'm the guy that bought it. Reckon I got it at a decent price so it makes the gamble a bit less painful. I've had a good look round it and a good test drive (100 miles home) and it seems solid. apart from sucking in exhaust fumes and feeling kinda grim when I arrived home it was a hell of a stint getting to know the poor beastie.
With a bit of love and attention i'll have it looking as spangly as my 2.0 16v coupe. no.. better.
I'm going to need to wait to the weekend to get some pictures but i'll keep a running commentary for general interest (or mockery).

the rear panel costs around 180 from the stealers i know this coz i had a rear end shunt in my 7a a couple of yrs ago have a good look at the fuel tank area mine was only a couple mm away from the panel if you need any help pm me good luck youve got your work cut out

Breaking S2s? OOh, I feel a bit faint! (in a Kenneth Williams voice). Even mike (ebay user audibits, who breaks coupes) declared it sacrelidge to break an S2. Unless it's really and truly beyond my finances i'll be taking my time and sorting it out properly.

With my first baby due in a couple of weeks it would be irresponsible of me not to provide him/her with a 4 wheel drive vehicle capable of getting safety out of the way of the corsa driving fraternity out there.

It's with my head hung low that I have to tell you that i'm forced to sell the car on now. My missus has chucked a wobbly cos our first baby is due any day now and she says i'll either not spend enough time with the baby or end up fixing the S2 for months and she won't have it sitting on the drive for that long while I work on it. So i'm just about to post it up for sale in the relevant section. i'm gutted. back to the 2.0 16v coupe for me.

cheers mate. i'm sure i Will. I'm offering it on this forum first for the price I paid myself. Even to pay a pro to do the work it would still come in under the price i'd expect to pay for an undented S2 with 102k on the clock. I would have done this myself to save keeping it on the drive but after buying the car itself (and not selling my 2.0 coupe) I don't have the funds to stretch to that. as I say I'm totally gutted but i'd rather have my wife speaking to me so "them's the breaks".
