Turns out there is some damage from weld spatter, not obvious to the eye giving it a casual glance but when cleaning it you can feel the pitting
Anyone have experience of glass polishing? I see some outfits claim to be able to remove weld spatter but I think this maybe out of budget
I certainly don't think a DIY kit would touch it
