Another purchase in error by me.
Brand new Lucas rear brake caliper. Part number BHN118. Google the number and you will see it is listed to fit the left rear of many old FWD Audis. 80,90,100,200, coupe. Number on casting is 2168/4.
As I found out when I got it out of storage to go on my cq; it does not seem to be suitable for quattro rear axles.
Caliper has never been fitted so is obviously in perfect condition functionally, there is slight oxidation in the electro plate which is what you would expect this finish to do. Perfect time to paint if you want to otherwise fit it and watch the surface age to match the other side in your car.
At £30 plus postage this bargain makes perfect sense if you were considering messing about rebuilding your old one with a seal kit.
