  • Breaking Audi C4 A6 1997 30V quattro.

I'm currently breaking a 1997 30 Valve quattro Saloon and have previous broken another 2.6 Saloon so I have a great many C4 parts to sell.

Both cars are Red, will check the paint code but I think they only did one red at that time.

I own and an keeping a 1992 C4 2.8 Avant quattro long term a lot of the quattro specific parts that are interchangeable are being retained for that car so I can keep it on the road indefinitely.

Air-Con system, was fully ****ional when removed. £200 for the lot, will split.

Doors, all four are good, £50 each.

Window regulators all tested and working well, £50 each.

    Tailgate, again good condition. £50.

Steering wheel, sports type, the leather, need's top section to be retrimed. £50.

Airbag to go with the above, £50.

    Passenger airbag, £50.

FWD Gearbox to go an ABC engine, no faults. £100 ono.

    Good FWD fuel tank, £50.

    Front cross member, £40.

    ACK Engine ECU £50.

    ABC Engine ECU £50.

Front bumper, no damage. £100 ono.

Rear bumper, no damage £80 ono.

Front subframe, rust free and generally good condition, £50.

A great many more parts are available, such as all interior trim and door seals etc. Please feel free to ask if there's something you require.

NOT available wings, carpet and fuel tank.

Collection strongly preferred on the larger items, though if buyers work with me I can package stuff and and send via courier.

Smaller items will be sent by Parcelforce tracked 48 or Royal mail first class recorded depending on the item.

If you'd like photo's of a part please ask and I'll post some.

Will also send parts to Europe, indeed anywhere in the world, buyers are responsible for any import taxes.

Also open to offers on all parts and collected job lots will be much cheaper.

I forgot to add that if the engine doesn't sell very soon I'll be stripping it and selling it in bit's. It's already had over a month on eBay without a sniff of interest (apart from individual parts) so I expect this is what I'll end up doing. So if your after just a sender or say a cylinder head please let me know.

Friday night bump for this lot...

The body shell goes live on eBay in five min's, it's got two weeks before I get the 9" grinder out, I want the space for another potential investment.

Will do bargain prices on collected job lots.

Oh yeah.... Forgot to add aircon parts are now available, as much as I'd like to install the system on my other C4 too many parts are showing their age for this to be a practical idea. Though I may look at wiring up the control panel to operate my cooling ducts so I'm hanging onto this.

Slightly premature bump, however I want the shell gone, it's now totally stripped and simply taking up a huge amount of valuable space.

It has until next week before I get the 9" grinder out.

I'll take £100 for it which is the same as what I'd get weighing it in, would much rather someone be be able to use all of part of it it repair their car.

          Interior is now sold.

Yes mate, I'm on there as well and it's listed on eBay.

Seems no one needs a shell or large part of one ATM, sod's law dictates as soon as I cut it up someone will want it.

Premature bump as I want the shell gone ASAP, will take £50 cash on collection for it as that'll save me two grinner blades and a horrid job, it has until the end of this week.

Interior has gone, got good money for that...

Just about all other parts still available, open to offers on everything as I only have so much space.

Only two grinder blades . You must have some very durable ones.
Now, just an idea but I use a local breakers who collect the shell from me. They don't pay as much as you would get for a full car but gave me £80 for the cabbie I stripped last year. Worth a try. Anyone local to you Kit?

I do a few bit's with a 5" grinder then I cut it into six pieces using the 9" and don't force the grinder, I can't actually remember how many blades I used on the last one, could have been three, normally end up finishing a few bit's off with an axe and sledge hammer.

I have access to a LWB van and would get roughly a £100 if I weigh it in myself as their heavy old things.

No one local enough to pick it up and pay unfortunately, got to get it into Hereford. I could get it removed for free but I have other scrap so would make a run of it.

Expensive Bosch blades, just checked, guess that's why they last well. I also try make sure I'm cutting so there no chance of the blade pinching by moving the jack about. I've cut up a lot of cars over the years so got a bit of a system, roof off, then straight across both ends of the floor and split the remaining lumps in half.

The center door rubbing strips I can help with.

However the bottom ones were all rotten as they always are, went on the last bonfire.

I'm going to get a complete new set from an eastern European eBay user for my C4 Avant, there's a couple of sellers on there doing them for a great price, can send you a link to the ones I'm going to buy.

Actually.... Thinking about it if you just need the small ones from the base of the rear quarter panel I think I have a good pair of them from the last one I broke.
