The mint one definitely IS Dean's as he's got it up on pistonheads as well. Tried to PM him but to no avail... prices have definitely taken a knock from a couple of years back. So a good time to buy!

Funny just been looking at them too and that 10k one looks in fabulous shape. Why is it that I NEVER have any cash when things like this appear. Also a really nice black metallic S2 Avant with original cloth covered Recaro's for sale too. Almost tempted to turn in the oil burner and have that on the drive instead.....followed by some tactical swapping of parts

I bought my first S2 AVANT from the same trader as the black Avant ,turned out to be
a bit of a nail ,under powered no oil in it hadnt been checked over at all , inlet pipe not tight ,i was new to the S2 scene at the time Turbo gone after a few months and i paid 7k you live an learn.

yep definately pays to take someone along who knows what to look for on these. When I bought mine there was almost zero info on the S2 especially online so bought it on a wing and a prayer too
