RS2/K26 Hybrid Turbo With Billet Compressor wheel.

I picked this turbo up as a spare for my RS2, though that run's a K26/7 hybrid which I'm very happy with as it was all done by MTM in Germany from new.

My thinking was that as they share the same hotsides and the RS2 billet compressor wheel is not only a much more modern design but also has a larger exducer and longer tip I could fit it place of the MTM turbo and make the car look completely stock.

However I now have the parts to build an even better version and in hindsight I think I should leave the MTM turbo in place after it's had a rebuild.

So I have the following for sale...

K24 7200/K26 hybrid turbo. The coldside looks stock from the outside but houses a Mamba billet compressor wheel, the hotside use's the larger 56mm oulet #6 turbine housing as well as the K26 shaft/turbine wheel assembly, the turbine wheel has been back cut to help spool up and reduce surging.

With 440 injectors it's a solid 400bhp turbo or 390bhp would be the absolute limit of RS2 injectors, 380bhp would probably be safer unless one was tweak the fuel pressure up a little.

It's close enough to a stock K24 7200 to run on generic chip sets, though as always a custom remap would make the most of any extra it has to offer and I know a lot of us are now using aftermarket engine management as getting Motronic mapped properly seems to be virtually impossible these days in the UK.

I thought I had a load of pic's of it on my phone but I must have erased them by mistake but here's some pic's I took when I got it from my project thread...

I can take a fresh batch of pic's tomorrow if required and am also happy to try and answer any questions.

£650 including fully insured Parcelforce delivery to a mainland UK address or £600 collected.

Also happy to send it anywhere apart from Belgium, Haiti and Russia, though this will cost a little more and buyers are responsible for any import fee's/taxes.

As always I will offer a fitting service for a set £100 including new gaskets and nuts.

Bump, £550 collected or £575 delivered to a mainland UK Address.

Fitting service is now £150 as I've run out of some the nuts and need to restock and they're expensive, plus it's a days work on most cars as they've never been apart.
