A few S2's forsale on the bay

Number 2 is good looking car my only worry would be why is there a jump starter pack in the boot ?

Another worry is that the seller has told me that it has absolutely NO service history !!! !!! Now that's what I call a gamble ......

Shoud not be to much of a problem, just go to your local friendly audi dealer and they may well help out

s2 avant on ebay

hi guys im new here and this is my first post i joined the forum to find a cheapish s2 my freind used to own one and i quite liked it ive always been into cosworths had 6 so far and an impreza so just fancy a change .

anyway back to the point i traveled from durham to bristol today to buy the s2 avant on ebay car number 2 the one on the hpi register with the rs2 bumpers and came away empty handed this car has been badly repaired and was ill described the radiator was loose and flapping about,the passenger side front wheel was abut 1-2 inches further back than the other side ,paint work was bad,no inner wheelarch in,front pannel all bashed in behind bumper ,cv boot off splattering the wheel with grease, air con radiator nearly broken in half ,head light badly fitted,bottom pulley wobbling about a lot ! ,and a nasty whining noise from the power steering pump at idle also the car was badly presented not been washed in ages with the inside just as scruffy as the outside i did not drive the car after finding these faults just told the guy it was not for me and left feeling very dissapointed considering i took a day off work and left durham at 4am just thought this post might be of some use to anyone considering bidding on this car

Number one in James's list used to belong to a member on here who didn't have it long, sold to another member on here who hasn't had it long either.
Why has it got one cill purple? should be black, other side is though??

Must have just missed the airbag introduction too?

sorry did not see his other car for sale yeah it is qute a journey but a lesson learned im sure i will look at quite a few more ha ha

Sounds like you did well to leave it wherre it stood
big journey for a nitemare result but at least you didnt buy it!! That would have proved far more expensive.
Your best bet is to search pistonheads and this forum mainly and wait for a decent car to come up owned by a forum member. Will most likely be a much better buy and all work on it will be known.
May cost a bit more but as Ive said before...a cheap S2 to buy is not likely to be a cheap S2 to run

Hi guys just reading through the thread and about my s2 which is on the bay at the moment.their is nothing atall wrong with my s2 and the reason being that it is relisted is that while it was on ebay at the end of january i caught glandular fever and ended up in hospital for 10 days and due to this i was unable to take any phone calls/reply to emails/questions about the s2.Now thankfully im alot better so i have relisted the s2.The rear light was replaced due to the original having a small crack and failing the mot.The car has never been crashed and has no mechanical faults.The truth be it is i have spent alot of money on this s2 getting it running as it should be and that unless i get the right money for it i will be keeping the car for my own use, but due to purchasing a new car,i would like to sell the s2.As for sevice history it has 21 stamps all from main dealers, as for the history of the car my uncle purchased it in 1992 and was the 2nd owner,me being the 3rd.I hope this answers any questions/varied opinions related to the sale of my s2.Anyone interested please phone me on 07900220803, or pm me, but pictures/description are on ebay.

He had it for a few months, then sold it on.
It then popped up on ebay a few months later >>> Ebay linky (Pictures on ebay long dead, description of the wheels being 17" was wrong))
It was bought by user "mads2" or someone close to him, and now it's for sale yet again.

hey guys the purple S2 is mine ne questions gimme a shout on 07867866993, bought a new RS4 and i dont get the time to drive the s2 ne more... dont wanna get outa the RS4 to b honest. S2 is a very nice clean car just cant make the time for it due to expanding bizness, was gonna put it up on the forum but allowed a freind to put it on the bay instead. dont hesitate to call.
