Got another one now and its only on 105,000

My A4 avant 1.9tdi has 243000 on the clock and runs sweet , another guy on here Craig his A6 2.5tdi has in the region of 275000 cant fault them

One of my mate has seen 350,000 on a skoda which has the same engine 1.9 TDI and it is still running now!!

what's the longest mileage you've heard of an audi going for?

This was taken from the clubs monthly newsletter in feb 2005. I emailed them (they are in Canada) this time last year. He's now a full master technician and the car did pass the "one million" miles.

One million miles. That's the lofty goal Brian Burechails has for his 1986 Audi 4000 CS quattro and he has just 75,000 miles to go.

"When I get closer to the mark, I'll carry a video camera in the car," the 19-year-old Ontario native told us. "I want to record the odometer turning and the exact spot where I reach one million miles."

The Audi had over 800,000 miles, and was "up on blocks," when Brian bought it in 2001. Since then, he's refurbished the classic inside and out. "At the time, all I knew about Audi was that it had quattro, so I bought it as a winter car. But the minute I drove it, I knew this was the car I wanted to drive all the time."

Before he was an Audi aficionado, Brian was a speed enthusiast who loved working on cars. He'd tuned his previous car, a Camaro IROC, to over 400 hp, and once built a 65-mph lawn mower as a shop project. "I bolted a snowmobile engine onto a rider mower," he explained, "and tested it on a back road. It would have gone faster, but it was shaking so much I thought I'd better slow down."

Brian has turned his twin passions into a vocation: he's an Apprentice Service Technician at Crosby Audi in Kitchener CA, and has his eyes set on becoming a Master Technician.

And after the 4000 CS reaches its million-mile goal? "I drove the new A4 1.8 T quattro. That's my next Audi!" "

my S2 currently has 193k on the clock, and the clock was changed at 43k so it is close to the quarter of million miles point

I sold my 1985 80 Sport when it had 193k on the clock, that was a "lovely runner", in Autotrader parlance...

fackin 'ell. that's... just... amazing. imagine listing it in autotrader though. Audi 4000Cs, 1,000,000 miles on the clock. Tax and MOT. I don't think non Audi fans would believe it.

actually Markarina - that's great to know you're still shooting about in your S2 at near a quarter million miles. makes my 100,000 odd seem like showroom mileage. of course I need to get the ****** running and reshelled. but those are minor points.
