    My Mint S2 avant .

(Please humour me on the ad guys - ive cut and paste it from a VW forum i use so sorry to you lot if im stating any of the obvious in it!)

Thinking about selling my baby - 94 (95 mdl yr) M plate Audi S2 Avant.
I will only sell her if i get what i want for her.
Mileage is just creeping upto 140k miles.
She has full documented history up until i bought her 6 months ago, ive changed the oil twice in that time..
Prior to me she has been serviced using the best oils available - Castrol RS being one of them, she doesnt use a drop between oil changes and she uses no water what so ever - the engine is unbeleivable.
When i bought her she had just had a new clutch fitted along with a 900 quid belt service which included the harmonic balancer crank pulley and the tensioners.
She has pretty much everything done to her suspension wise, Ally Subframe bushes front and rear.
Polyurethane Wishbone and anti roll bar bushes front and rear.
New RS2 Anti Roll bars - these are about 250 quid each.
Brand new RS2 Anti Roll bar drop links.
    Brand new Ally Top mounts.
Koni adjustables and H&R shocks which were fitted approx 2 years ago.
I have changed the track rod ends and bottom ball joints on the front so everything is tight as its all new - she turns in unbeleivably well.
Brakes are Brembo Cupra 4 pots and 312mm Audi discs which are dimpled (not drilled as these are prone to cracking) and grooved.Front pads are new along with new rear discs and pads.
Recently fitted is a set of ACT/Ronal Magnesium split rims with Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD 3 tyres - these are very light and are 8x17 ET 36, tyres are 225/45's.
I also have the original Audi Avus 16" Wheels with the same Eagle F1 GSD tyres.
Bodywork is pretty much mint - im very fussy and the only rust was around the bottom of the rear screen surround,I have a spare red tailgate but tbh you dont even need to think about doing it as it isnt noticeable.
You cannot see the rust as its been treated and ive sealed it up under black silicone to prevent water sitting under the seal.
Prior to me owning the car the engine has never been tweaked whatsoever - only reliablilty modifications which comprised of new Samco boost hoses as these are notorious for boost leaks and the Mark H mod on the intercooler.
The aux rad has been removed - this allows more air over the engine, she runs rock steady temperature wise - probably helped by the new Behr Audi RS2 spec radiator.
In short this car is about as good as your going to find mechanically, because of the condition i had her remapped to 280 bhp and approx 300lb/ft torque - she goes along very nicely indeed especially with the decat pipes fitted (i still have the cats), i know she is very strong as myself and a certain other S2 forum member had a little duel and my car walked away every time.
She is pretty much mint bodywise, the only mods ive made are to paint the projector headlight black around the surrounds, the chrome grille has recieved the same treatment and the rear hatch has a rare red reflector panel rather than a horrible black plastic affair.
The interior is Jaquard Satin cloth which is in excellent condition, she also has Carbon trim, immaculate White S2 dials which are not suffering from peeling dials which seems to be common.
The auxilary guages have been moved up to the centre air vents so you can actually see them!.
Because she is a late spec S2 she has the factory Immobiliser in the key and central locking activating the Audi Alarm, i have since added a Votex Comfort lock system so she has remote central locking operating the alarm.
MOT is until Spetember and tax runs out end of May.
She really is a great car and will show a clean pair of heels to alot of unsuspecting cars! - more so when conditions are not favourable!.
I want offers around 6 for her with the Split rims and the spare Avus rims, spare tailagate etc
Yes there are cheaper S2's out there but you could easily spend a couple of grand getting one sorted - this one is already done - nigh on everything is new.
I might be tempted for a part ex with cash my way, something German preferably!

Very rapid and handles superbly and it wants for nothing, (genuinely guys) everything on this car is SORTED! At £6k its well worth it. With everything - ie both sets of wheels, spare tailgate,Stereo and brand new Bosch HID set up as close to 6k as i can get,
If the car was to go with stock Avus rims, without the stereo or HID's then id be looking at 5k.

Probably a dumb question, but how do you open the rear hatch?
Was thinking of doing a similar mod to my old 80, but figured it wouldn't work.

Same way as you do when you fit the 90 rear panel,
You cut the aluminium handle down.
The handle is still there behind the panel - its just not as long as it was - works fine - heck even my missus can use it
