Why do the seats have a flip forward feature on the inside of the seat? Aren't these normally on the outside of a 2 door car? Is is it a recline feature??

Could the seats be used in a 2 door RHD car?

The RS2 Recaros have a flip lever on both sides (don't ask me why though) which means that no only can the person entering flip the seat forward, but so can the person sitting in the other front seat....very useful

As for the RHD question, my RS2 seats came from a LHD car in Germany and took 5 minutes to fit into my RHD Coupe

That is a smoking deal for the lot.

The uprights on these seats fold forward like a 2dr car.

They are manual sliding seats.
They have tilt and extension power switches.
Straight swap for the typ89/B4 Coupes so you'll need the original rails from the RS2 buckets.

BTW a pair of RS2 buckets can be someones if they can find me some A8 Recaro buckets

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe they have a release on both sides of the seats. It was a feature which Recaro put on this type of seat to make them universal fit, i.e you dont need to order a driver or passenger side seat / left or right hand drive spec they are all the same it's just the sub frame that changes

we worked on two RS2 at our AUDI dealership and both have front seats have this feature

both cars mint and as left factory

Did seriously think about that Sparky but really wanted one of my forum to have them. My mate showed them to someone today as i was tied up at work but the guy had a quick drool over them and offered £700 (no chance) and was sent packing by my pal. Curently and somewhat suprisingly these are currently`still`up for grabs boys
