Original S8 Avus wheels 18"

Hi all

As some of you may know i had phils S2 avant of him, and absolutely love the car.
However, i'm not really a big fan of 18" wheels.

It currently has some 18" original S8 Avus wheels on and i am wishing to change these for some 17" wheels of some sort.

Does anyone have any nice 17" wheels that they would like to trade for my 18's?

They must have some half decent tyres on as mine have good tyres all round (225/40/18)

I may consider selling them separatly but would invite you to PM me an offer as i dont know how much to ask for these. I know they are quite a sought after item, especially as they are originals, and i also have 5 of them (no tyre on the 5th)

They condition is good, the faces are good and there is a little kerbing to some of the outer edges.

So, what have people got ????

To save confusion the S8 alloys on here are the 2nd revision S8 alloys and are NOT the 18" version of the ABY 16" alloys.

I know what you mean, some people could sell ice to the eskimo's and make a tidy profit.

I just want an honest price that i can then get some 17's with.

I think £500 would be a fair price given there is Five genuine alloys with four good tyres.

What tyres do you have fitted and how much tread is left?

Cant remember the make (phil might) but the rears are like new and the fronts have some wear to the middle (as though they have been over inflated) but the outer edges are like new. I can get some photo's later.
