I'm working on finding a good and expecially cheap way to ship parts, 'cause some of them are heavy and shipment cost could be an issue.
    Besides this I was also trying to figure out how to manage the selling giving everybody interested a chance. My intention was to give an advantage to S2Forum members for buying my parts, before looking for "outsiders".... but I think this forum has detailed rules over this subject. So I'm afraid the only way to manage this is through ebay.

    Any other idea welcome.

      Bingo

      At a guess..I would think its because Marcos struggling to put a price on some of the items and doesn't want to under price them

      For example stroker engine....wil be sold for what people are willing to pay for it I would think as theres no precedents that I am aware of.

        Of course guys I'm doing the disassembling also for financial issues which means princing the parts has it's importance , but what I was trying to avoid is doing something like the group buy of some years ago (do you remember the stripping down of the crashed RS2?). In that case I managed the "first come, first served" method, but many of the friends here complained not having seen soon enaugh the list of parts and then not having had any chance to bid on them.
        An idea was to list the parts available and then together with you guys putting down some fair prices, but then how do you manage the selling with multiple interest over some of the objects?

        About the "pre approved ebay auction" I don't know how it works. Need to take some time to look at it.

            Ok guys, here is a list of the most interesting (in my opinion) parts. There are many more and since I really don't have the time to manage the whole lot, I'll sell through ebay a couple of them at a time while posting here a few days before, all the infos (pictures, starting price, reserve, shipping costs etc.). This should give you a bit of advantage compared to others outside this forum.

            This is the first list of parts with a quotation of what I was hoping to get:

            - RS2 Turbocharger; 50k miles, good shape; 500 euros;
            - RS2 Exhaust Manifold; 50k miles, good shape; 300 euros;
            - RS2 IC + xmember; 500 euros;
            - ABY Intake Manifold; 200 euros;
            - RS2 "Bosch Green" Injectors; 250 euros;
            - RS2 MAF; 150 euros;
            - RS2 ECU 551 B "Mihnea chip"; 600 euros;
            - RS2 ECU 551 C "OEM"; 500 euros;
            - RS2 Front Brake Calipers + carriers; 500 euros;
            - RS2 Rear Calipers; 150 euros;
            - RS2 "Porsche" side mirrors; 250 euros;
            - Recaro seats full black leather front + rear; in pretty good conditions; 1000 euros;
            - RS2 instrument panel complete with side lever; perfect condition; 350 euros;
            - RS2 Coil set with coil cover; 250 euros;
            - RS2 "CGR" 6 speed gearbox; 30k miles; perfect conditions; 700 euros;
            - ABY 6 speed gearbox; 100k miles; perfect conditions; 500 euros;
            - ABY cylinder head complete; 100k miles; good conditons; 400 euros;
            - Bosch motorsport fuel pump + installation kit (brand new); 150 euros;
            - RP 550 cc injectors (brand new); 250 euros;
            - RS2 OEM "Porsche CUP" alloys (5 pieces, 5x130, 17"); refurbished, as new; 400 euros;
            - S8 OEM AVUS alloys (18", 4 pieces, with tyres 80%); almost perfect; 600 euros;

            Did my best to put fair quotations (in my opinion), but would like to know if you think some of them seem overpriced...
            Will post details of first couple of items for sale in a few days (I apologize, but as already sayed I have very little time at the moment to manage those things).

              Hi Marco, I don't now you but my best wishes to your current situation. I hope all improves

              I noticed the large IC. Will this fit on a standard RS2 chassis or does some cutting need to be done to make it fit under the front bumper? Any ideas of the expected price you'd be looking for?

              Many thanks

                The big FMIC was adapted by modifing inlet and outlet to match S2-RS2 purposes, then I've built a x-member using an anti intrusion alloy bar that perfectly fits the oem mountings. This layout clears completely the OEM RS2 front bumper (not the OEM S2).
                This item has already been promised to a friend of mine, so, unless he will let it go, it is not for sale.

                Sorry.

                Thanks for your interest enyway.

                  I did a mistake in the description of the gearboxes (messed up with codes).

                  Of course the RS2 gearbox (6 speed with reinforced 1st gear) is the CRB code.
                  THe CGR is the ABY one.

                  I have both.

                      Not yet.
                      For my lack of time, I'm giong to put on sale a few items at a time. I still have to disassemble some of them and carefully check them up. Don't want to sell junk nor parts I don't belive are reliable.
                      For each of the item I'll put a thread on the "for sale /trade" section for the community to know. So watch this section for news.
                      By the way, although the gearbox is an heavy item, the shipping to England should stay whitin the 100 Euros, 150 Euros for Ulster and Islands (Express Curier) which doesn't seem too bad to me.

                      Thanks for your interest
