yeah i did well, nice chap too. He saw it on pistonheads and sent me a deposit before even looking at it.He was so pleased he didnt haggle at all and gave me full asking price.
Funny thing is,he's moving to Germany with it so its going home.....my new Aby has just come from there!!!

Getting a bt worried now about values of these things nowadays - if thats the street price, what ridiculous amount of money would your average insurance company cough up should the unthinkable happen.
Ah well - lifes too short to worry about that - upside is that its all that much cheaper to buy a 2nd one I spose - you could almost have a daily driver and a weekender/project car for that money. I paid 9k for my 1994 ABY in Summer 2001 - here we are six years later and I could nearly buy three of 'em. Mad !Paul Nugent

my insurance company valued myn at £3500 when it happened to me
