I wonder if it's worth the moderators insisting on the seller's contact details (not to be published to the great unwashed of course) i.e. phone number and address (e-mail and home), before approving posted items over a certain value?

That way in a situation like Jay's and Sweeper's the buyer can get appropriate details from the moderators to chase up the seller.
