Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly does this do for me over and above the OEM item (other than being 50% lighter)?

It's for people who need the timing needs to be adjusted on the I5 with a hall sensor.

It's of no use really to a stock setup unless you mucking about with different cams IMO

That’s not too bad, has anybody got an image of the underside?

Looking at the cam sensor ring, it looks like it’s mounted to the center part of the pulley, which isn’t going to move position when you adjust the cam timing

@Clive, it allows you to fine tune the cam timing in relation to the crank shaft. For example on an engine rebuild if you skim head/block and move them closer together it will have an effect on the relationship between the crank/cams. This jobbie basically allows you to compensate for that by having some adjustability. I'm fairly sure Jamo will need one building a stroker with a taller block.

Nice cam pulley, guys. At least it looks good.
Higly recommended to have one of those adjustable ones expecially on "Tall block" strokers ( ) 'cause the taller block causes a mismatch in the cam timing adjustment of about half a tooth...

It's mounted at 5 points to the outside where the allen bolts are.

loosening the bolts and adjusting moves the hall trigger +/- degrees

Well if theres enough interest, i will contact the seller and see if there is any movement on 10? Maybe it will just reduce the postage and bank transfers but every little helps

Also there is another company that makes a product like this, i just cant find it at the moment
                      IIRC Doug runs one?

The above pulley is made by Dahlback and the guy must be getting stock from them somehow. They are 194 euros from Dahlback.

If you look in the centre it should say www.Audituning.com

One thing I need to know is why is there a 21 and 31 mm part?

What size is the stock OEM?

This is the only one that works with an ABY / ADU setup ( apart from Pisobikers home brew, which I hope I can get my hands on :mischeif: )

Have cat cams finally made a hall sensor version then?

I'll have to look at project MR600 pics
