      Hi 4WheelDrifter,

Just been out to the car to check. There is an S in the chassis number??? Not sure if that's what you mean??

I've PM'd the whole chassis number to Jas11n. I'm not sure if finding out the year of manufacture makes a difference or not to it having procon 10?

IIRC there is no way that an N reg car had procon. My guess is the steering wheel was replaced and it has neither.

          Alastair,

Can you tell me how you know for sure??

Is there an option code for this in the boot??
Should there be an airbag warning light on the dash??
Was the airbag steering wheel height adjustable?? etc etc.

          Thanks

That confirms it really. IIRC by that stage procon was not an option unless someone knows better. There was a cross over period in 1994 I think.
The steering wheel versions never had adjustment. The one on yours was the original procon type. Then there was the square non sports and the sports airbag versions.
Airbag sticker on drivers side door recess.
Cannot recall the option code but I bet Jas can remember

                  Hi Alastair,

Thanks for your help on this. I'll do some more reseach on option codes for anyone who's interested in purchasing the car. Either way, at least they'll know what the score is beforehand.

                  Many thanks
