aby coupe possible purchase

Hi all just been offered a 93 aby coupe for silly money £700!
Genrally the cars in excellent condition there is one minor/major problem the water pump seezed and the cambelt came off.
ive pretty much decided im going to buy it can anyone recommend a good place for an engine rebuild and rough price guidlines?
My mechanic is reluctent to do it as he speciallises in alfas not audis.

ill post some pics tommorow meeting the guy at 2 today, kicking myself yesterday i ordered some rs4 reps and lowering springs for my 2.8 coupe, as i had decided to give up the s2 hunt for a while next thing one of the plumbers at work has over heard my conversation with my mate about his quattro, and ive landed an s2 well as they say s#it happens!

Got it! Finally ive got an s2 picking it up monday got to trailer it as the brakes are siezed, went for another look today underneath the dust it is a very straight car, no dents whatsoever only minor scratches looking through the history one week before the cambelt went it had a service totalling £900! rear diff bushes replaced all brakes e,c,t im hoping to have it road worthy in 2 weeks still searching for a competant mechanic to do the rebuild at a decent price.

A service 1 week before the cambelt goes? hmmm, sounds like the previous owner should have taken it back and got the garage to sort it foc!
