The car currently SORN, IT HAS NO TAX OR MOT. I had a slight mishap at high speed and selected the wrong gear which resulted in a bending a valve. So it will have to be towed or put on a transporter. I bought the car may 2006 and have only done 2000 miles in it. The car was towed off the stretch of tarmac by the RAC who advised me it was a bent valve.
Ok just been told today it is the bottom end that has dropped a bearing or something, lol . I am not really mechanically minded.
It is booked in for the 3rd of October so if it doesn't sell I will have it repaired. Unfortunately I struggle to find garages around where I live.
I don't have much time to use the car and it is left out in the open for the lack of a garage. As I am not really mechanically minded I have copied and pasted the original description below from the original advertisement when I bought the car, so I have added comments in brackets to anything that's changed.

THIS CAR IS PUSHING ABOUT 360 BHP, 165MPH EASY(WILL SPIN ALL 4 WHEELS IN THE DRY)RUNS AND DRIVES MINT AND FLYS BUT DOESN'T DRIVE LIKE A FAST PERFORMANCE CAR,IT DRIVES SO SMOOTH AS ALL AUDIS DO, ( I cant vouch for the exact BHP as I have never had it on a rolling road, however It will do 0-60 in around 5 seconds)
THE CAR IS IN VERY NICE/MINT CONDITION FOR A 1990 AUDI ( It now has a small rust spot under the drivers door handle,small surface rust spot on rear passenger quarter, front passenger side wing has some blistering on it which I believe is common on these. The pictures in the advert were taken a while back when I had time to clean and polish it.
HAS DENT IN PASSENGER REAR QUARTER ( still there, blue ring in photo)
DRIVERS SEAT HAS WEAR IN THE BOLSTER WHICH HAS PRODUCED A SMALL HOLE. WAS QUOTED £80 TO HAVE IT FIXED. (never got a round to it)

27.05.06 - 172000 - RE PERFORMANCE CENTRE LANCS ( 4 week wait at local Audi dealership and I wasn't prepared to wait plus RE Performance deal with these cars all the time) I spent just under £500 in another garage having all the bushes front and rear replaced so it drives straight and true.
My intention was to have the car fully resprayed because I wanted the body of the car 100% perfect but I just haven't got the time due to business commitments plus it wouldn't be worth it to have it sat out in all weathers so as I said above I would rather it went to a better home with a garage. Again the car will have to be towed or put on a transporter. You are bidding to buy not to come down and haggle or kick tyres. CASH ON PICK UP.
