All the carriers are as bad as each other to be honest! I'd suggest shopping around. It cost about £70 when I sent an interior. You need to pack it well (lots of cardboard and bubble wrap) and make sure that they will insure it for the proper value. Most will only offer £100 as standard cover and some won't insure the package at all!!

I actually got hold of UK pallets - 01543 267500 who gave me the best price so far. Glasgow to Midlands, door to door for £47. there are weight and size restrictions but I think you have up to 500kg or something mental. I spoke to Paul McTaggart there and have his mobile if anybody wants to get in touch.

definitely. My findings were as below. I didn't include the people that quoted over £100
Roadferry, 48 hour service for £70 plus 7.5% fuel surcharge = £75.25
www.etsltd.co.uk 90x100x120, under 450kg , 3 working days = £62.62
kfreight.com 120 x 100 x up to 200, under 1000kg, 48 hour I think = £74.50
And then UK pallets (on 01543 267500), 2 to 3 day economy delivery = £47
It would almost be a shame not to find something to send now lads.

I don't know about UK pallets but I think the others do. I actually ended up calling a bunch of companies that do international but not domestic (UK)
