      £8k...

Seems a bit steep to me for what is a LHD car with a big black mark against it's name...

      Still though, watching with interest...

Doesn't it seem a bit strange that the lights etc are removed yet it was the wiring that was disturbed when it was broken into??
and why are the pics ok of the car good and then a **** one of the engine???
Something seems and if it's registered as stolen/rec. it will always have that stigma and never be worth as much
Had a customer who bought a s/r car had loads of little annoying electrical probs- like cutting out and failing to start at random- so much so that he broke it for parts.
          Beware!!

That's exactly what I was thinking...

£6k is more realistic for LHD...

If it was RHD than £8k tops.

But you are still buying a car that 'potentially' needs loads of work (why is the guy that's selling not doing it??? From the environment the pics are taken in looks like garages, so it might be more hassle than it's worth) Also No MOT as well, would it need loads for that?

            Buyer beware...

"SADLY THE CAR IS REGISTERED ON V-CAR AS IT WAS STOLEN RECOVERED. FORTUNATLEY THE THIEVES WERE UNABLE TO TAKE IT AWAY BECAUSE OF THE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM, THEREFORE HAS NOT BEEN ABUSED, FRONT DOORS HAD LOCK DAMAGE, IGNITION BARREL & WIRING WAS CUT & BROKEN"

So it wasn't actually stolen at all, just a bit of light vandalism - like if someone broke into your car to steal the stereo?

It doesn't stack up at all. Was it trailered away and stripped for it's headlights and then recovered by the Police?? Weird. Seems very dodgy to me

Take a look at the interior shot - the wiring loom is most likely fubar'd.

Like Tecknopug suggests, I reckon it was trailered (or maybe lifted & towed causing torsen nastiness) to a lock-up, before they went to work on the wiring. Maybe it has a tracker fitted, and this was how it was recovered in one piece...

Would make an interesting project for £4k ish - otherwise, mmm, no thanks.

Best quote i've ever heard about something like this. The amount of times people say it and it turns out to be true.
