Has had it about a year, service history up to 2002, is at his mates at the mo having an oil change so cant see it immediately Had new disc & pads as he f*ked the other ones! Ad says moving abroad but would consider p/ex...

Don't know the car, so can't comment on it's condition just from pictures.
One thing I noticed in the advert is the "superchip"
Be carefull with superchipped cars. They don't exactly do it the best/right way.
They replace the fueling chip, but then rely on tightening the wastegate spring down and disconnecting the WGFV to up the boost.
And "£600 spent" just says to guys in this forum that he was dry shafted and doesn't mean it's a good upgrade.

Nice interior though, then I would say that as it's the same as mine
    2001 Avus Silver B5 RS4.

Sounds a little iffy, superchip and 6x9's - tread carefully.

(Just an innocent observation based on years of experience... )

      Cheers,

      Steve.

        Cheers guys!

Checked it out yesterday, wasnt all that. As i turned up there was a few guys working on it as the inside door handles werent working (had to reach thru window to get out!)

Bodywork was in need of some serious TLC,bumbers front & rear only just hanging on, Turbo was not boosting at all properly was no noticable leaks, one of the guys mentioned it could be the air flow meter?!? As expected, front seats werent to clever, passengers was really scuffed & worn on bolster which i thought was weird for passenger side! Strange squeaking from drivers side front wheel, couldnt work out if it was bearing or brakes. It had apparantly just passed MOT that day but i cant see it would pass with all these issues! I didnt even bother to ask to see it as car was not for me! Also,No central locking, both doors had to be locked from the key.

End of the day, would prob make a good project car if price was right!

Yeah then probably have to spend the same amount sorting the problems, best to wait till you find the one for you.
