The keys are still in the ignition...

This car reminds me of something you'd buy off old Del Boy and Rodney!

Still, I'm sure if put in the right hands (say, a dedicated soul of the S2Forum who has a lot of time) it would come up beautiful.

But the dashboard would still be green - where's the bucket - this particular old 80 is hard to love.

                    Could it not be painted?

                      WTF !!!

Its a heap of old *****.

An ancient old saloon car on no particular merit.

It ws a dull saloon car when it was new and NOTHING any S2forum member could do woild improve that ...unless you rebuild it to such an extend you might as well have started with a piece of scrap metal and a blacksmiths forge!

Why would ANYONE want it..why are we discussing it?
                      SOLD !

I'll have to completely disagree with you on that one.
Without cars like this, then there wouldn't be an S2.
Without the S2, would we have had the RS2, the RS4 and the RS6?
Without the VW Golf would we have had a TT!?!?!?
It's just how the Audi range has evolved over the years. for me, I love the early Audi's. iIf I had the room then I'd have probably had a bid on this as well even though it has that lovely green interior! It will probably polish up a treat which does prove you can polish a turd!

You lot told me that any S2 can live forever if you throw enough money at it...why not this one?

Seriously, can the dashboard not be painted black and the interior replaced with black leather seats and that steering wheel could do with a replacement.

personally, I'd leave it as is. It's not to taste but it's original and maybe it'll be the next carbon fibre!!!

                            I've seen worse!
Look at the interior of a maserati ghibli primatist!

then there's this little beauty on Mobile dot de!

and all the body panels changed for a nicer shape... and the engine changed for a more powerful one...and the wheels for better looking wider opnes, the brakes upgraded, loom rewired, windows replaced...

... sorry Corey but the only way i can see this helping the S2, is that the beauty and wonder of the S2 is subjective...so you ned a shed like that to compare it to!
(if all cars were S2s then they would not be so unusual and special)
                              SOLD !
