Fantastic Road Bike - The humanly aspirated version!

    Hi all,

Not sure given that this is a car forum how many people prefer two wheels, but you never know so here goes.

Over the summer I bought a Pinarello F4:13 racing bike. It was used in the 2006 season by Shaun Snodon on the recycling team - www.recyclingteam.co.uk . The bike itself is a 61 cm and cost the team £5000 about 18 months ago. The whole of the bike is in good condition although it has been used so has some signs of wear but there is no actual damage. Pretty much everything on this bike that you want to be Carbon fibre is.

    - Full Campagnolo Record 20 speed group with Titanium 13-26 casette (New Skel brakes in 2007)
    - Carbon MOST 39/53 cranks
    - MOST carbon seat post
    - Most Carbon Saddle
    - MOST carbon 44cm wing bard
    - BBB full carbon stem
    - Carbon deep section clincher wheelset with full carbon hubs (1550g, Mavic Cosmic Carbone are 1510)
    - Schwalb folding 23mm race fevlar tyres
    - 2 x Carbon MOST kevlar bottle cages
    - Pinarello Carbo titanitum LOOK pedals

Whole bike weighs in at 17lb - this thing flies up hills!

One quick picture attached but loads more can be found here:

Reason for sale is that I am just too big for it. It's the biggest size Pinarello make but i'm just too lanky! Looking for £1300.

    Cheers,
    Rich

Cheers Carlos - Yeah the trouble is being 6'5" I have to go for a 63!! Tried off roading for the first time in a long time over the summer, headed to Wales and Hired a Maverick ML8 (bargain at £40 a day) - Having nearly killed myself countless times, I have now regained full respect for off roaders!! Not only the riders but modern, good mountain bikes are epic pieces of machinery. I had the Maverick which took everything I could throw at it without missing a beat and another friend had his £400 GT, by the end of the weekend he could have thrown his bike away, it was trashed!

When it "flies up hills" does it grow wings out of the saddle?

Being a rower and a cyclst I do think that sometimes I have a deep and underlying Lycra fetish- got draws full of the stuff at home - perhaps I shouldn't admit that in pubic
