The time has come for me to sell my pride and joy. I thought I would have used it more than what I do. It is a 1994 on an M reg Brilliant Black RS2 with blue and black alcantara/leather. The car is left hand drive. The car has recently been mot’d and needed £650 worth of work to get it through with a lot of work being done on the handbrake. A new radiator was also installed. The car has 239,391kmh not sure what this is in mph but the car is in great condition for year and mileage with only the few problems below to make the car spot on.
This car has been one of my dream cars since I was little and to have been able to own one has been an absolute joy with the car putting a smile on my face whenever I drive it. I owned an S2 coupe before this and they are totally different to drive.
Good Points
· Fresh mot and tax.
· The car has been well looked after since I have had it being cleaned and polished at least once a week.
· Interior is pretty mint for the age of the car with no holes or marks.
· The heated electric Recaro’s are excellent and look great in the blue alcantara.
· Set of 18 inch wheels with god rubber on them. The wheels look really good on this car as they are similar to the cup 1’s.
· HID lights fitted which have made a vast improvement when driving at night.
Bad Points
· The car has some scratches on the back bumper, key mark down the back passenger door which was caused by a little brat in Newcastle (wish I had got my hands on him) and a few small dents on the body.
· The lower door mouldings will need to be replaced as they are coming away from the body.
· There is currently a boost leak, which will be fixed by the time I sell the car.
· Crack on the windscreen.
When the car was in for its mot I was advised that I would need to replace the discs in the near future. With this in mind and also with the door mouldings I have decided to offer this car up for £7,000. This is an exceptional car that will be fully appreciated by the enthusiast. I will offer it up on the forum but will put it up on Pistonheads in the next few weeks if there is not enough interest in it. I may be interested in a part exchange. I am only selling as I am moving house.
