FOR SALe - S2 Amber repeater lenses

My old (original) S2/coupe amber repeater lenses for sale on Ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MESE:IT&ih=010

I replaced them with clear lenses a couple of months ago - so these have been sat on shelf for ages. I just want enough t cove the postage if they go to a good home. 50p opening price £1.25 postage.

I just got some of those (clear/green) for my UrS6.

Can't figure out how to change them over without just pulling them off.

Do you need to replace the bulbs with amber ones?

    Apologies for hijacking your thread.
UrS6 - Homefry, Bailey DV, PiperX filter, Samco hoses, H&R springs, 3" D/P back zorst, 270bhp and 260ftlb

Well I wanted clear lenses AND the silver metal bulbs that look plain but light up amber... those bulbs are available on Ebay but cost quite a few quid more than standard ones...so for the moment I have old amber bulb inside new clear lens... has the "fried egg" look.. which is horribly disparaging description...But actually i've got used to the look.
      SOLD !

Oh yes meant to say about changing them... the shape is hard to describe....

They have a hollow cylinder which houses the bulb, and pokes through the hole in the car bodywork. Next to that is a spung plastic clip (part of the moulded plastic of the reflector base). The plastic sprung bit catches on the lip of the bodywork hole and jams the thing in place.

Haynes suggests you gently slide the reflector towards the front of the car, against the pressure of the clip, and slide the back egde of the lens out. of course the lens in your car could have been inserted the other way in which case... slide it towards the BACK of the car. Jeeezz

once you see one you will understand - sadly that will only happen once you've torn it off!!!
          SOLD !
