Nice find and would make a good addition to a coupe quattro etc.

2000 miles, wonder what happened to the car and why its had the engine removed rather than insurance fixing the car?

**Big Lee M** · 22 November 2007, 21:19

I reckon it been stripped and all they found was the engine in the car

A bloke i worked for had his v8 S4 nicked and the coppers only found the shell with the engine in still nothing else found it in a lock up in Wakefield, they said that you need a special tool or something to get the engine out

Yeah. Here's a guy warming up his special tool before removing an B7 RS4 engine.
