i have for sale 6 speed g earbox from audi urs4 v8. Gearbox is 01E series and has code CMG.
It should fits also to audi s2, and rs2.
It has oil pump with lines to oil cooler to cold gearbox oil.
Shifting mechanism is included
Just looked up the CMG data - could be usable for S2/RS2 alright - feel for a high performance example that could justify little extra complexity of gear oil cooler.
So this one has slightly longer gear ratios from 3rd and above - gives potential for higher top speed or same motorway cruise speed for lower revs. S2 is 24.8 mph per 1000rpm in 6th. This box gives ~26.5 !
Cruising at 3000rpm in 6th give ~75mph on S2/RS2 whereas on this box give ~80mph.
If the stock S2 has max speed of 155mph that equates to 6250rpm on stock gearing. Use of this box could attain 165mph assuming the same engine can overcome the additional aero losses.
See the attached spreadsheet for details - quick modification of one I had for a while.
Oh and just for fun - how much power would you need to overcome the aero losses at 7600rpm to break the 200mph barrier ? Crazy thought like - but hey - its all applied maths at the end of the day...
I think I had a lil spreadsheet for that somewhere - must have lost or archived it
what I meant was, I have an 01E 6 speed I'm going to be installing in my coupe, and if its possible to fit an oil cooler it would be good to know which ports are for the oil cooler.

perhaps this will help you:

There should be 2 banjo bolts. One near the back of the box and one near the front driveshaft flange, both on the RHS. You can see them in Valjo's photos.
