Brand New Front Control Arms For Sale (bushes installed)

Pair of new front Control Arms with bushes already in place.

Bought a job lot of parts and found these buried in one of the boxes.

Said on the tag Audi 80 Q to 94.

The part number is on them for anyone to check if they would be suitable for application.

    £40 inc postage.

Sold! (as long as they will fit a coupe )

I've had a look on VAGcat, part number is the same, but the letter suffix if different - can anyone elaborate? I assume these were a co9mmon part among the 80/90/coupe. Can anyone confirm? Needed for a 20v fwd coupe

    Cheers
    Alex

From what I'm seeing the E suffix is for late b3 models (part number ends in 148 for the right side)

Nope they won't fit by the looks of them. I havnt checked the part number but the picture shows that they only have 2 bolt holes for the bottom ball joint mounting and as far as I'm aware all 20Vs had the later 3 bolt bottom ball joint.

These are listed for 3 speed auto Coupes.

I have seen them before - on a 1988 80Q. Family album states those from 8A-L-045 001. Doubt it has anything to do with auto transmission though.

Paul, my answer was biased towards fwd Coupes since Error404 asked about them be suitable for his car. They are for early 80(90-92) and 80q (87-92)cars, Auto Coupes (89-94)

The part numbers surrounding these lower arms is a mine field!
