as some of you know from my previous posts, I had an overheating issue with my car before christmas and as a result have replaced the head/block/turbo on my 95 ABY coupe. I therefore have the engine that I took out going spare. I just picked up the car from the garage (TAP in Iver) and they've got the spare engine, with the sump loosely bolted back on and will box it up and put it on a pallet. It's got the turbo still attached and all the manifolds included plus flywheel etc... As they've not taken the head off, they're not sure as to the extent of the damage (although when compression tested it came up well short, hence me replacing it completely), but there's plenty of parts on it that you could canabilise and with a skim the head could be fine. I'm looking for around £250 for it and happy to listen to offers (collection only - although I got my new engine picked up from Sal in Brum and delivered to TAP for around £40 on an economy pallet service).
PM me if you're interested, or give TAP a call and I'm sure they'll give you a more accurate description of what you'd get. FYI the engine had done 99k before taking it out.
