    FS: 380HP hybride "RS2" K26 turbo

I have my hybride RS2 turbo for sale. The turbo was optimised one year ago (approx. 12.000 km ago) with 360-degree sport bearings by Turbo-tap in Germany.

The turbo charger is water- and oil cooled.

I had this turbo on my Audi S2 with other optimised components and ECU software and I had about 380 HP und maximum turbo pressure of 1,75 bar.

The turbo is a full K26 model, which means the turbo cold-side housing is K26 and holds a K26 compressor wheel as well, like the original RS2 turbo (K24-7200), which is a full K26 turbo as well.
Turbo hotside (#6) is also the same as RS2 turbo, but because my turbo has 360 degree sport bearings it spools up much earlier compared to the normal RS2 turbo. 380 HP with this turbo are no problem when all neccesary engine parts are in place, like I have in my setup.

This turbo has got normal bearing-play and is in top condition! Runs like new!

The reason I am selling this turbo is just because I am upgrading my engine and change to a Garret GT3071R Turbo (450+ HP)

I am looking for a price in the order of 550 Euro (399 GBP).
Shipment to UK is 15 GBP. All other EU countries is 20 Euros shipment costs.

Sizes in the pictures are wheel diameter sizes

What are the differences between this and OEM RS2 turbo?

The RS2 unit is not a full K26 turbo. It's a hybrid of the K24 and K26 with the K24 housing machined to fit the K26 wheel.

Housings, bearings, and probably wheels. This turbo looks exactly like 50$ scrapyard k26 from outside. No offence, but I have verified pictures with the turbos from audi 200 I have in garage. They match 1:1.

I hope bram is honest, and this turbo is rebuild, and really has some different inside components, like bearings and wheels (especially cold side wheel).

But if rebuilder was normal, why he left blue ID plate? That is not common on modified turbos .

The coldside compressor housing was machined by the firm TurboTapp in Germany to fit the RS2 k26 wheel. TurboTapp and the rebuild date are written on the blue KKK ID plate. The bearings are 360-degree sportbearings and almost new. The hotside measurements and hotside compressor wheel are also equal to the RS2 turbo.

I know what this turbo is capable of and I am telling you this turbo is equal/better as the old RS2 K24-7200 turbo.

I thought it's just dirt on ID plate

No worries. You are right in questioning this turbo, as it is not clear from the pictures directly what you can expect. I just know this turbo will bring you a smile on your face once it's properly mapped
