Is this anyone from here? Conrods and Pistons

Sent an email enquiring about the manufacturer of the conrods and if they have a reciept for the purchase bearing in mind they are brand new...

Got this back....

they were made in sheffield by a company who makes the conrods for a famous company.i paid cash for them so no recipt sorry. a name and a recipt wont make your car be able to run more power!

I asked about these too, he told me they where made in Darnall, Sheffield but refused to name the company. Funny thing is, I've worked in Darnall for 12 years now, in the Engineering manufacturing field and I don't know anybody locally who can make con rods. When I pushed him for the manufacturer he told me to get lost!!
With the US exchange rate as it is you could buy Scat rods and JE pistons for around £700 new, and you could spec the pistons to what you wanted.

Just checked my messages on Ebay and he claimed he had a receipt for them, joker

I got a similar response. Not very helpful, especially when asking for top dollar for them.

I'm sure you'll find a piston in here that will meet the 7a spec.

220mm block height, 86.4mm stroke and 82.5mm bore...oh look...
