Hi all,
Unfortunately having to put my S2 up for sale in order to fund a ski season later this year. Really enjoyed my ownership of the car and also being part of this excellent forum! Here's the Ad:
For Sale: 1995 Audi S2 Avant, in Emerald Green metallic, FSH, 120K miles.
Standard (apart from the few items listed below) sunroof, non-aircon model, cloth interior with carbon fibre inlays. Lovely and smooth, the car pulls, grips and brakes as it should. The car comes with a logbook showing 17 stamps from new.
During my 18 month ownership I have done the following:
• MRC health check and oil service (castrol RS fully synth oil used and faulty diverter valve replaced with 710N item.) (105K)
• Replaced front bumper (cracked), both headlights, both foglights, both indicators.
• Spark plugs and fuel filter changed
• Alternator reconditioned.
• Alternator belt replaced
• WGFV replaced
• Rocker cover gasket replaced.
• Radiator replaced, along with all mountings.
• Oil service at All Audi Bristol (115K)
• Replaced seized tie rod, two Dunlop SP2000 front tyres, four wheel alignment.
Major work carried out prior to my ownership:
• Head gasket/thermostat replaced at 65K
• TOAD Cat 1 immobiliser with start button.
• Cambelt replaced at 86K
• Fuel pump replaced 100K
The only modifications are:
• K&N panel filter
• Samco MAF to Turbo hose
• Mark H Mod
• 710N diverter valve (from S3)
• Front engine stub mount
• Sony head unit
The car Dyno tested August ’07 with 246BHP, print outs to prove this. VGC inside and out, only a few scratches to the paintwork. MOT 07/08, TAX 08/08
I’ve been proud to own such a nice car for the past 18 months, and it’s never let me down. If I were to keep the car I feel it could do with the following work:
• New Aux water pump (70 VAG parts)
• New front drop links (£50 VAG parts)
£4100 ONO or £4300 with the above work carried out.
Forgive the dirty pic! I'll get her cleaned and washed tomorrow and post a few more.
