Dog guard from my sorely missed RS2

Guessing it will fit an 80 Avant as well. Original VAG OEM part- number 861-VAG-586-HW in as new condition (no teeth marks ). These are miles better than the aftermarket ones you get.

£50+postage/courier, although there is a chance I can deliver it as I'll be visiting friends and relatives in the UK shortly. So if you live near this route I might be able to drop it off or you can come and collect from Barrow/Preston/Blackburn.

    Hull to Preston/Barrow in Furness.

Any chance of a picture? What's it made from, is it metal or the netting one? I'm definately interested - I had an OE one in my A6 Avant, metal kind, and it was great. Perfect fit, very stable and was great for keeping other things in the back besides just the dog.

Also, I'm just south of Bolton so not far from where you'll be!

If it's the same as mine, it's metal and clips into same holes as the luggage cover.

It is the metal type and it does clip into the luggage cover holes.

Key Walsh if you're prepared to drive up north a bit then I can meet you half way. I'll be in around the Blackburn area in a week or so and should be free most evenings. Better than messing around and paying extra for postage I reckon

          A couple of pics-

last chance- leaving for UK tommorrow and if they aren't in my car I'll probably end up posting them to someone in Europe who expressed an interest.

PM me/leave a reply here if you are in the UK and want them.

Sorry for not getting in touch sooner, not had access to the net through a computer (only my mobile) and it wasn't loading this page - saying it was too large, and seeing the pics I understand why! Looks almost identical to the one I had in my A6 - heavy but did exactly as you'd expect it to do!

I'll have to pass though I'm afraid, money's got a bit tighter since I expressed an interest - other than the turbo or head gasket issue my car's having my mortgage has just jumped up leaving me with less pocket money to play with

Good luck with getting shut of it though, I'd definately have it otherwise as they are a nice item...

Cheers Key, I've already got another buyer who I will be messaging on my return from England. Just wanted to avoid couriers that's all. Here's hoping it's something less than serious with your motor.

Well I still have the dog guard so if anyone's interested I can possibly deliver it- location dependent. I'm doing a monster tour of England and if you're on the route I can drop it off.

Price reduction to 40 quid, remember this is an OEM item not some aftermarket rubbish.
