Moves the torqe higher up, not as much lower down but when it kicks in boy does it kick.... I have a 3B with both 7a cams in and it can be a bit unruly (esp as I have a CQ20 gearbox on too) in the wrong gear round a corner as it really is all or nothing..... Feels great though. Went for a drive with the girlfriend yesterday in mine and also got a lift in my mates prodrive scooby for the night out. She much preferd the scooby as it was smooth and progressive bt even my mate says mine feels like it is flying when you put your foot down due to being forced back into the seat for that short (well 3.5K till redline) band..... That is what they are like anyway, you do need a remapp to make the most of them though!!

The 7A cams are more agressive than the RS2 ones IIRC. There is many a thread on here about the usage of them, Exhaust cam only, both etc etc etc. They have differing charcteristics used in differing forms..... Best do good search but I would ahve them both and get the car mapped properly, Makes the top end more fun!!!

And yup the 7A is a normally aspirated engine (no turbo or supercharger)

Don't know with regards to a fry as of yet, don't think it has been thorouglhy tested.... But the feel of my car is more pull when it kicks than that of a prodrive scooby. p.S mine is digitech chipped (which is pants by the way) and I have a modded AAN manifold to remove half of the air intake pipes..... (quicker boost up)

Any idea of the actual mileage on the cams; would you take £100?

It should still make a difference to the setup whatever chips you have.

                        Still for sale btw
