I sent a rear bumper to the states recently and wrapped it in a cheap duvet from asda (about £7 or something silly). Apparently got there quite snug and happy.--------------------------------------------------------------------

V6 Coupe front bumper (also fitted to some Cabriolets, not just V6 cabriolets either) is in essence the same bumper. Difference was the S2 bumper had holes in the front for the standard fit headlamp washers, the V6 didn't unless specified as an optional extra at time of new purchase.
Digging around in the gallery on audifans, here's a picture of the V6 bumper. Note lack of headlamp washers. Same fitment exactly as the S2 front bumper.
Both types, either S2 with washers or the other without, have the two slots on the front lip, as talked about above. I've never seen one of these two bumpers without those slots on the lower lip.

shipping
Is the problem you're going to have to deal with.
Get in touch with FedEX freight and get one of their FREIGHT forms, fill it out exactly as you wish to to be shipped - sit down with an agent, have them help you fill it out properly, scan it and make a PDF of it so whomever is shipping it from the UK can see exactly where you wish it shipped to and the method you wish to ship it via. Problem is the forms have to be filled out when the truck comes to get it wherever it resides, signatures from the actual shipper.
Could even be cheaper if you go down to a local FedEX office and create an account for yourself and they charge directly to your CC, and you won't have to pay any body's Markup.
I just had a UrQ bumper and valance shipped over and it was $170.00 US, more than I paid for the bumper!Comment
