MB doesn't look too bad, seen your other pictures on quattro forum.
With time and TLC it would make a very nice car

Passed her MOT and a load of work done too

      Hi All,
As promised (unfortunately) my S2 is now up for sale. The car's just passed her MOT with no advisories and has had the following work just completed prior to MOT.

Full 100K Service (oil, filters, spark plugs)
New OSR lamp bulb holder fitted
New ORS flexi pipe fitted to brakes, new rear pads, full replacement of brake fluid, system bled.
Replaced both front top strut mounts and both fron anti-roll bar links
      Replaced all front ARB bushes.

All work carried out by Audi (I know stupidly expensive but at least the work and parts are guaranteed and it's fully serivce history is maintained for what that's worth.

I'll try and get some decent photo's up soon (once the bleeding rain goes off and it's still light!).

A couple of minor faults still needing done. Expansion tank needs replaced as it's got a crack on the radiator return hose fitting. Diff lock stays on even when switched off. I might get a chance to look at these this weekend weather and time permitting!

Looking for around £5400 for her due to all the work done in the last year, the relatively low mileage for year, full history and uprated suspension and wheels/tyres. I'll be advertising on Pistonheads and others shortly.

A bit annoyed to sell her now that I've done all that work as she's handling/going really well but she's just going to sit on the drive and get driven once a week if lucky, even less if I go overseas.

Anyone who's interested, please get in touch (PM me).
Looks like I've got a buyer for the old UR too... It's like losing limbs aargh...
      Cheers
      Fraser

Who knows, ive missed not having a proper car to play with and having been sensible for quite a while now with a company car etc ive managed to put quite a bit of money away and the urge for a car has always been there and the noise the 20v makes is like nothing else

Have looked around for an S2 a few times and a UR, have also looked at a few crazy dubs - Mk1 20vT etc

Will see what happens though, i think it would need to be v nice or potential to be v nice.

                  More to follow

                  Hi Ant,
A bit more about the car.
95 M Plate ABY on 17" BBS Alloys with Koni adjustable shocks. 101,800 Miles
Electric Roof, mirrors, recaro seats (all seats in black leather). Alpine iPod head/CD unit (kindly fitted by Baltiboy (Raj))

UR Quattro intercooler fitted by previous owner.

Standard engine and exhaust (always meant to go the homfries+Miltek exhaust) route but never got around to it).

Front brakes (discs and pads) fuel lines and 4 new 225/45/17 Dunlop SP9000s fitted in September 07.

It's supposed to be nice tomorrow in Inverness so I'll get some other pictures up later on Saturday, all going well, as I've got a 20Mile run to do from Drumnadrochit to Inverness as part of training for a charity event in may.

A local fella's coming around on Sunday to have a look, so we'll see what happens
                  Cheers

Welll that's done it, she's gone

                    Hi folks,
Finally got around to selling the S2. So now I'm feeling a bit armless at the moment, no car!! The URs refusing to go without a fight, some folk seem to think Inverness is just around the corner from Edinburgh! Good grief.
Anyway just a last post to say a big thanks for all the help I managed to get from this forum and it's great members. Kept the girl going and allowed me to enjoy S2 motoring to the full. So cheers again to Raj for the stereo install and the rest of you for the tips on electrical faults (those damn blower motors and resistor packs) and all the fun posts.
I hope the new owner enjoys the auld girl as much as I did and you might see him posting on here at some point.
Time for me to go off and find a replacment, two seats this time and an engine in the back...

                    Cheers again

Well hope it has gone to a good home pop on now and again just to touch base and to let us know what chariot you end up buying
As for the stereo anytime if funds would allow i would consider the UR for myself

                      cheers Raj

Glad she's gone to a good home

Good to hear you got home safe and sound Steve, hope that daft leak on the expansion tank wasn't too much of a nuisance.
Glad she's gone to a forum member with another S2. Maybe your wife won't agree though

I'm reduced to a black racer. Current horsepower - around 1/2 hp on a good day! Better get me skates on and buy that plastic fantastic Exige.

                              Cheers
