My RS2 FOR SALE.......

Hey all,

Regretfully I am putting the RS2 up for sale. I've just ordered an S5 and with this and building a home office, she needs to go to a good home!

Because prices of LOW mileage RS2's vary depending on how much people are prepared to pay I will not set a price but will take any serious/reasonable offer into consideration. Currently Pistonheads a 77k RHD just went for £16+k. I'm not looking to break the bank and am very keen for it to go to a member or someone else as passionate about the cars.

My spec is as follows:

1995 Volcano Black
RHD
60k
Owner before me owned for 11years. I've had it since May last year.
Full history and ALL receipts
Fully refurbed 18" Cup 1s.
MRC Custom Remap. Drives as it should now I believe. Doing about 24mpg.
Milltek Catback (have original exhaust)
H&R lowering springs (have originals)
Aero Wipers (have originals)
Clear Side repeaters (have originals)

Full service with Cam belt change when purchased in May last year. And a service as scheduled a few months ago.

Interior is black leather in very good condition with carbon infills in doors etc. All standard. Stereo was replaced by previous owner and is a Sony headunit with 10 disc multi CD. Not great and I was due to replace.

This is without a doubt one of the best examples available with one of the lowest mileage. Bodywork is in fantastic condition with absolutely no dents.

I would say it will need new rear discs and pads very soon but fronts are good.

I'm not happy to sell but as stated above at present the money is better spent aleswhere.

I feel a fair price would be over £16/£17k +. I payed top whack for this car but because I really wanted it!

That would look very nice on my driveway too, but its not likely this year. A clapped out old dag-dag 80 Avant is about as close as I am likely to get

Yeah S5 on the way. Part exed the porker. No doubt the S5 will recieve a few upgrades but with this the RS2 simply isn't going to be used enough and could do with the extra cash for this bloody office I'm building.....

Genuine offers (if any) will be considered. Not looking to break the bank just get a good fair price as it's such a good model.

Eh? Insure it with a dual car policy and your partner as a named driver. Ergo, don't sell her.
